Gregory is a teen living in a world where a single Virtual Reality Machine has everyone plugged into a simulation, everyone except him; so he decides that he has had enough of not being part of this and buys a headset on old forums abandoned years ago. The weird thing is that, he manages to make friends, friends who were abandoned, thrown away and infected but he loves them anyways, because that was his first interaction with someone who genuinely felt human although they are not human.

This is just a short story I thought of late one night. It is what I call a "picture this". It's about a girl dancing in the rain but it actually has a deeper meaning. I'm hoping this helps someone in a way. I also would like to hear how people would interpret this in their own special way.
