90s. Mumbai. Two hearts, one city and a thousand stolen glances. Every morning, she boards the same local train-armed with dreams, letters in her bag and Shah Rukh Khan in her heart. And every morning, he watches her from the next compartment, silently matching his rhythm with hers. A story started with disagreements, cute banters, his quirky remarks and her sarcastic replies blooms into a big garden full of emotions, love and respect. As their bond deepens in a city bursting with colour, chaos and cassette tapes, the two must navigate family expectations, cultural clashes and the kind of love that feels both cinematic and real. In a world without smartphones but filled with landline calls and monsoon memories, Under The Same Mumbai Sky is a tender, slow-burn romance that captures the magic of first love-and the city that witnessed it all. ~A love story based in the 90s blooming through the streets and local of Mumbai πŸš†πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸ’Œ

Bihar, 1946 - As the winds of independence stir across a nation in flux, deep in the heartland, a different kind of tradition holds firm: child marriage. In a quiet village, Gulab Mishra, a spirited 9-year-old girl, is married off to Anirudh Singh, a 16-year-old heir of a wealthy zamindar family. The ceremony is a matter of duty and alliance for their families - but for Anirudh, something unexpected awakens. With a glance, with a smile, with the soft rustle of her anklets, he feels something stir within him - a tender, inexplicable affection for the little girl who now bears the title of his bride. When Gulab returns to her parental home after the wedding - as tradition demands - Anirudh finds himself restless, haunted by her presence in his memories. What begins as innocent attachment quietly blossoms into a deep emotional yearning as seasons pass. This is not a tale that glorifies child marriage, but one that tenderly explores the emotional nuances of a boy becoming a man while carrying the weight of a bond he barely understands. As Gulab grows into her own person and the world around them begins to change, their love matures too - rooted in patience, innocence, and time. "Chhoti Si Dulhan" is a delicate portrayal of longing, unspoken emotions, and the quiet beauty of a love that waits through the distance, through age, and through change.

Aaidha, raised in a modern-minded family, had never experienced stereotypical gender discrimination. In fact, her family, known for their prominent social standing, was often held up as an ideal by feminists, praised for prioritizing merit over gender. The Rajwats, however, is a typical Indian family. While they provided woman with opportunities, they maintained a clear expectation: marriage is her ultimate goal. This manifested in subtle ways, like women being expected to serve their spouses meals before eating themselves, or cooking for their exhausted husbands after a long workday, despite also being tired. More significantly, it meant women were often expected to sacrifice their careers to prioritize family wishes. These may seem like small things, right? But even a single drop can create a vast ocean. Aaidha is well aware of the societal position of women, but what will happen when she experiences it firsthand? Will she be able to continue her marriage with Rahil? Will her husband be like any typical Indian man, or the man she envisions? Will he understand her? Or will she be dismissed as a 'pseudo-feminist'? β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡β—‡ Aaidha, a fiercely career-oriented woman, holds one primary goal: to fulfill her grandmother's final wish. Rahil, an ambitious businessman, shares the traditional mindset of his family, viewing marriage as a means to carry on their lineage and ensure the company's future. So,when they are joined in the sacred union of marriage, will Rahil's traditional values dictate their path, or will destiny forge a new course?
