"All I saw was that familiar sea of leather." The Leather Backs were that group of guys that your parents warned you about, but you ignored them. The same guys that didn't have a care in the world, and stole hearts and broke them as a hobby. Always seen hiding behind leather jackets and smoke from their lit up cigarettes you couldn't help, but be a little curious. People always said curiosity killed the cat, but good thing the cat had nine lives maybe that's why I'm here as a mere survivor to their destruction. I'm the girl who should of listened to my parents, the same girl who was robbed of her heart, and the thief was the one who promised to protect me. That thief was Jace Morgan my first great love, my first heartbreak, and my downfall. He was the leader of the Leather Backs.

Ethel is an eleven-year-old living in 18th century England where she works in the factories her life has always been hard but her family is tough and resilient, there is never any spare money but they manage; when things start to happen to Ethel, things that cant be described by logic, she begins to wonder if she is even sane. Then she realises she is most definitely not at all sane when an owl decides to bring her a letter from a place called Hogwarts... (This is a story using the Harry Potter world but it takes place in the 18th century)
