Katie is a social worker and her husband, Charlie, is a cop in the LAPD. A normal day of work for Katie turns into a full blown action packed race against time to save a little girl from her physco mum who's out to kill Katie (the only person who is willing to adopt this little girl because of her disabilities) in order to get her daughter back. But Katie sees the danger in this little girl's mum's eyes. Will Katie escape this little girl's dangerous mum and give the little girl the life she's always dreamed of?
