Becoming Death is painful, but it was possible. It required a human being to suffer so much pain, that they could no longer see any good in the world anymore. It extends to the point where they kill themselves, embracing death fully. However, once you are Death, there is no going back. Until someone does, and they embrace their second chance at life, leaving a message and story behind for those who are following the person's path with the intention to warn them. Only, will they survive such a transformation? Or will they die?

A mysterious death has rocked the upper class circles in Victorian London. The victim was the king and queens only child. The queen has sent 3 detectives to inspect the case. The upper class society is in an uproar, and rumors about the identity of the killer are spreading like wildfire. A nobleman, Alexander Phlox, a 16 year old boy from the nobility, has decided to take matters into his own hands and uncover the truth about the death.
