Missy Kate Curtis has 3 brothers -Darrel (the oldest), Sodapop (the middle), and Ponyboy (the youngest). Their parents dies 2 years ago but they are not alone. they are part of a gang who loves them. Missy learns how to grow up without a mom or female role model and the boys learn how to help a 12 year old girl grow up. This is a collection of short stories. You can read each story separately or in order. I recommend in order. Each part is a separate story unless the title says otherwise. All rights to to S.E Hinton. All main characters go to her except Missy. This a retelling of the outsiders in a world where everything is the same except the Curtis boys have a sister and Johnny and Dallas are still alive.

I haven't seen a lot of these and only one that was truly Realistic. So I decided to just make my own

"You can't just leave!" Darry yelled as tears filled the rims of his eyes. "This isn't my choice," I told him trying to remain calm and ignore the now forming lump in my throat. I reached for his hand only to have him rip it away. "You could convince them not to go," he said as tears trailed down his face. I sucked in a breath realizing this was the first time I've ever seen Darry so vulnerable so weak. I stretched my hand out and wiped away the falling tears. "I will always love youyou Daryl Curtis but I have to go," he held my hand to his cheek tracing circles on the back of it. "I love you too Quinn," Darry whispered as his heart broke in two.

Sodapop had just gotten cheated on by his girlfriend of a few years, and she was moving to Florida to live with her grandmother. It wasn't like Sodapop was angry, though. He was willing to forgive her and move past it, even though she was pregnant with another man's baby. He still loved her. He had been planning to marry her and everything. But clearly commitment scared her. It scared her so bad that she ran off and returned all of Sodapop's letters unopened. Every letter that declared his love for her, every letter that begged her to come back to him. Steve got fed up with seeing Sodapop moping around over some girl. Steve would never be that in love with a girl. He never was too fond of them. He had Evie, but their relationship was weird. He took her out and they did couple things in public, but otherwise they didn't talk much. In fact, Evie seemed more into Sodapop than she did Steve. But it made sense. Ponyboy was too young, Darry was too old, and Sodapop was taken when she started "dating" Steve. So what was the next best thing? Dating Sodapop's best friend. She only really went out with Steve when Sodapop would be around too, it was too fucking obvious. And Steve didn't care at all. He never felt for her like he said he did. Women were a waste of time anyway. He'd rather spend his time out with the gang; and more importantly his best friend. Steve would rather be roughhousing and drag racing and fooling around with Sodapop than dating any woman. His best friend was more important to Steve than any dame was. His best friend, who was laying around moping like an idiot over some girl. Sandy was never that hot anyway. She wasn't fun to be around or anything. Steve didn't get it. Steve was smart, but he never understood relationships like that. What was so great about being tied to someone like that? He didn't get relationships, but he fully understood loyalty and affection for Sodapop. He understood love. Kinda. Sort of. He loved cars and Sodapop. That counted.

Lux-Ton Rose Curtis. Kid sister to Darry, Sodapop, and twin to Ponyboy. Lux was a tuff little girl. She had brown hair and brown eyes, and was 5'1. She loved her brothers and her gang. But after he parents died. Her and Darry didn't see eye to eye. She had not friends bc they were just using her for the boys. She didn't feel loved and sometimes felt like what is the point in life for her. But when she starts falling for a greaser boy she thought she'd never love. Lux's needed a safe place.... And she found a safe place in him.....❣️

Leila moved to Tulsa for the summer. She thought it was just a little stay for a couple of months then she's back to her home and favorite place in the world, New york.
