Sofie får sit drømmejob som fysioterapeut på cykelholdet Lidl-Trek. Hendes arbejde er at hjælpe rytterne med at komme igennem de hårde etaper, behandle skader og sørge for, at holdet er klar til næste dags kamp på cyklen. Men allerede på sin første store løbsdag møder hun en rytter, hun ikke har set i mange år: Mattias Skjelmose, drengen hun cyklede med som barn. Mens løbet bliver mere og mere intenst, rammer et voldsomt styrt holdet, og en af rytterne må på hospitalet. Presset stiger, skaderne begynder at vise sig - og Sofie må holde hovedet koldt og fokusere på sit arbejde. Samtidig begynder gamle minder og følelser mellem Sofie og Mattias at dukke op igen.
