After the tragic fate of Mary and Richard Parker from the cause of HYDRA, instead of killing the young boy Peter Parker is taken by HYDRA at a young age, wiped clean of his memories, and turned into a weapon. Years later, he's found during a mission led by the Avengers, specifically Bucky Barnes, who sees too much of himself in the boy with the empty eyes. Bucky refuses to let history repeat itself.

A strange bond has sprung up between the Red Room's newest recruit and their most reclusive instructor. The rest of the staff is confused by the winter soldier's interest. The little red head is smart enough, but she's also runty, and has a discipline problem. The Winter Soldier has no idea why he likes the child. All he knows is he can't not protect the little scrap of a thing with more fight than sense. She's so small and so outraged at the injustice of the world. There is something about her that reminds him of... Someone. NR67 doesn't like the Red Room. She knows most of the instructors don't think she'll survive training. The older girls are all bullies. There is never enough to eat. The only good thing is the famous Winter Soldier, hero of the Motherland, has taken an interest in her. He's surprisingly kind, frequently sneaks her food, and he at least thinks she can survive and maybe even thrive in the world she's been thrown into.

You have had a busy few weeks and today was just the cherry on top of this week. You get home to your long-term boyfriend, Bucky, hoping that things would be better but things aren't exactly what you expect.

Hope y'all enjoy, I tried my best with matching Bucky to his actual character. I'll try to keep up with updating every week. Throw The Winter Soldier into the mix and you've got yourself an unlikely trio of agents to take on new public figures, old enemies AND new ones, and the politics of a fractured post-apocalyptic world. The only thing is, Bucky isn't aware of the connection he has with you from so many years ago. And as one of the very few survivors to ever face Hydra's former assassin, you're not sure if him remembering is the best thing anyway- for a number of reasons. But as you get to know the real Bucky Barnes, and he gets to know you, you both find a myriad of things you didn't even know you were looking for. ✪ *in progress, slow updates* Pretty much a fanfic of your character put into the plot for people who like to imagine themselves in the world of the show like I do. And of course some post-Endgame-soft-Bucky fluff is required. This honestly started out as a fun daydream I decided to write down. Mostly for the fun and the adventure of it. Time is condensed in the times mentioned between CA:TWS and Endgame. It shouldn't be too confusing, just don't take it too seriously. Main character does have a name and vague profile/background just for the sake of having more material for me to work with and not doing the whole "Y/n" "f/c" "e/c" thing. MC's powers are inspired by Marvel's Cloak & Dagger, The Gifted, and a little Lab Rats from Disney. Otherwise just imagine it's yourself if you'd like an escape from the outside world, or some attention from Bucky Barnes. 😉

When tony takes you in to live in the compound. You join the avengers under the same roof. Bucky takes an extreme liking to you. But there are so many mystery's floating around. Through it all you and Bucky fall for each other with sticky sweet moments and twist and turns. Read to see what happens.
