A team of highly specialized agents of the multinational group, Secret Histories International, must come together to save the world from a threat of ancient and extraterrestrial origins.

What if Wattpad had servers on the Moon? Written for @SciKick 1000 Contest. The year is 2297. On the eve of a total lunar eclipse, an aging moon-based server farm goes dark. A pair of retired soldiers are conscripted to supply parts and technical crew. If they don't restore service, viewing parties won't be streamed and their small commune will lose vital clients. A strange thing called the Esme which has it's own power which gives power to it's user when required is what he will find during his quest.

Layne Marks has always been reminded that it was only a matter of time before he would cross the line of what was seen as not perfect enough to live in Eumain.

That's the reason why chapters/parts are so short (less that 280 characters) and there are hashtags within the text. * About the plot * This is the first part of a soft Sci-Fi / Space Opera short story. The plot and the storytelling were influenced by the daily #vss365 word prompt on Twitter. Hope you'll enjoy reading it - at least as much as I enjoyed writing it. Stars Are Shortcake is a lighthearted and humorous serial sci-fi adventure. Initially intended as a four-panel comic, the author has repurposed it as a daily writing exercise because he doesn't have the time or money for artwork! Ha! Note from the Author: "I need something in my writing career that can be completed in an hour or less. This is because writing books takes such an immense amount of time, effort and willpower. He's been blind since birth and his mother...well let's just say she wants him to not be. So seeing as such, he an unwillingly participant in a medical procedure that completely replaces his eyes. Everything the original owner saw Dal now has complete access to. The memories develop into a voice. A voice that wants Dal killed. Actually, he's getting ahead of himself. The voice wants him to solve a murder case, which being honest will probably get him killed. You see, the voice turned out to be a detective who tried his hand at solving a murder case but instead ends up in an "accident." Talk about getting the "big break" a little too early in life. The detective thinks he's inside Dal's mind because of unsolved business, the murder case. So yeah, not only does Dal have to do deal with his new sight but also a murder case that'll probably get him killed. This is going to be fun. Thanks to: @MichaelLongspear for this glorious cover.
