Current word count: 6.8k L wasn't looking for a partner, but the Kira case proved to be too big of a challenge, and he wasn't prepared to face it alone. That was when he met Y/n. A smart, sarcastic, talkative boy with no self preservation and the same brilliant mind he had. It was hard to say no, so he didn't. What L wasn't able to calculate, were his feelings for Y/n.

When you love someone, you have to make sure you tell them. You have to tell them that you love them before it is too late. But when a notorious serial killer is involved, being too late always seems to be the case.

You are working with L to help solve the Kira Case~ (I do not own any of the death note characters, gifs, and images.) Most of the story is the same as the show, somethings are different.

L gets a call from his father causing L and Light to go to The Wammy House. I am terrible at summaries, sorry. Slight L x Light.

You're going to need a new prescription at this rate." He sighs and puts the papers to the side in a neatly folded pile before his gaze meets mine again. "No." I grumble slightly as I pinch the bridge of my nose. He knows I'm right but he's too stubborn to do what I say. "No?" I ask as I give him an irritated smile. "I think you accidentally said the word no. Want to change your answer?" L groans softly and runs a hand through his messy hair. "I can see just fine."
