You are working with L to help solve the Kira Case~ (I do not own any of the death note characters, gifs, and images.) Most of the story is the same as the show, somethings are different.

(Y/N) Yagami moved to London when she turned 18, due to a job offer unknown to her at the time being a detective job that worked closely with the mysterious L. As the two worked together for a few years a relationship developed and they eventually eloped after two years of dating. Due to the secretive nature of their work, Watari is the only person that knows about their marriage not even (Y/N)'s family knows. Now, L and (Y/N) have been assigned to the Kira case and they have to manage to keep their relationship a secret from her father and brother who will be working closely alongside them. A lighter and softer AU of Death Note with Light, L, Sayu, Misa, Mello, Near and Matt as Elementary School students. No Death Note, no Ryuk, basically a lighter and sofert AU of Death Note similar to slice-of-life school fanfics.
