Light Yagami is the main suspect of being Kira, but he quickly becomes a suspected victim of long running abuse. What started out as a possible motive soon gets L emotionally involved. Can L keep up face as he pretends there aren't other motives to some of his actions?

I close my laptop shut as I just stare at him. "L..." He focuses on the papers in his hand instead of looking at me. "Either go to bed or wear your glasses. You're going to need a new prescription at this rate." He sighs and puts the papers to the side in a neatly folded pile before his gaze meets mine again. "No." I grumble slightly as I pinch the bridge of my nose. He knows I'm right but he's too stubborn to do what I say. "No?" I ask as I give him an irritated smile. "I think you accidentally said the word no. Want to change your answer?" L groans softly and runs a hand through his messy hair. "I can see just fine."
