After Talon's attempt to assassinate the leader of Russia, Sombra had her own plans to herself. She didn't like Gabe or Amelia because they were too boring to hang out with anyway. It was close to dia de los muertos (The day of the dead) and Sombra wanted to celebrate it at home. Home. Dorado, Mexico has her hometown since she was a little girl. Ever since she was discovered, she forgot her real name. But she could never forget her home, Los Muertos, and that bakery in town. She had a little friend who lives at that bakery and thought she could spend her Dia de los Muertos with that little someone.

When Gabriel Reyes is provided with a new "superpower" because of an unwanted boitic adjustment, he finds he has to struggle with the consequences. Not only is he the strike commander of the Blackwatch division but he also has to figure out how to hide his mutation from the strike commander of Overwatch, Jack Morrison, who just so happens to also be Gabriel's husband.
