At the end of the battle with Gaea, right after Octavian shoots himself at the Earth Mother, Nico realizes his mistake. He realizes that he just allowed Leo to be shot down. He realized he was about to get one of the seven killed. In a desperate attempt to save him and possibly not be hated, he manages to knock Leo off of his flight path and into the ocean. But at the last moment before he crashes as well he's pulled into the shadows. After that all he can remember is pain, he wakes up in a hospital in Gotham city with people crowding him, a billionaire trying to play hero and take care of him, and people constantly asking him questions. Questions that should be easy to answer, right? Will was Nico's first real friend. Yet, Nico still fell for Will. He knew it. And he hated it. Will was beautiful. Shining like gold in the afternoon sun. And Nico was barely human. He hated to let Solace be his touchy self, to banter cheerily and often annoyingly with him but he couldn't do anything about it. He watched Will work, smiling at his dedication, his unbridled passion for the things he loves. It was endearing in a way. It would be more difficult not to love him, to love the way he loved. But Nico knew he was grasping for a fools dream.

BoO left us with some questions, and I'm here to answer them -- mainly this will be about Solangelo, but later on in the story I'm going to get to all the other ships as well, so bear with me. This is my first fanfic, so hopefully it'll get better as I go along. Let me know if there's anything/anyone in particular you wanna see! Just btw, this is fluff and feels, not smut. I don't have anything against smut, but I wouldn't have any idea how to write it. Will watches as nico confesses to percy and something in his chest stirs. Jealousy? No.... he has only seen him a couple times. He didn't even want to hang out with him....
