In a solar system far more advanced than ours, lies five different habitable planets. Utip, Mesx, Tero, Yuio, and Ploar. Meet Anna Tekels. When a crew of astronauts investigating a strange space disaster discover an alien artifact on a top-secret space station, their mission goals morph into simple survival. **** In the winter of 2087, the dark and covert part of NASA comes back online when they lose all contact from the top-secret space station Astroria, orbiting Jupiter. A crew of astronauts must travel to the rotating wheel to find out what happened, alone. Their mission: find our what happened. But not everyone wants the truth to get out and, as politics collides with espionage, sceince and cold-blooded murder, a second, more bloodier spacerace ensues and the crew find themselves in the very center of it. What they would find would make them rethink their understanding of the universe...and humanity's chances of survival.

After a mysterious crystal falls from space, the orphan Skizzy unexpectedly ends up tied up in a mission across the Solar System to discover the origins to this mysterious rock that may be the key to unlocking intergalactic space travel.

Heads up, I did not design this cover. I got it from YouTube on a Sonne meme video by Clay_ This is the first story I've ever written that I've actually intended for other people to read, so expect mistakes. I'm also looking for advice on how to improve this story like a beta reader, if you will. If you have a comment, criticism, or advice for me, please don't hesitate to post it as long as it's constructive. This story was inspired by the Solarballs YouTube channel. It will be different from the show's canon because it is an AU. There will be no ships because I think it's just weird to ship celestial bodies (no hate, just my opinion). All celestial bodies will also be genderless (but feel free to imagine them as whatever gender you want) because they're cosmic beings; why would they have gender? (Again, no hate) This story will focus on the Sun's backstory (with bits concentrating on other characters, namely other stars that helped shape Sun's character) because there is a disappointing lack of Sun-centric fan fiction. There will be both happy and angsty chapters (and a lot of headcannons), so prepare for a wild ride!
