Boo Suengkwan was just a normal high school boy barely surviving classes on the small island of Jeju. He has friends, a normal family, and a pretty ordinary life - basically your average teenager. Until one day, a tall brunet boy shows up in his life. A six-foot-tall, muscular exchange student from Seoul named Mingyu. The moment Kwan laid eyes on him, something shifted. Mingyu caught his attention instantly, and suddenly Kwan found himself acting strange - shy, nervous, painfully aware of every little thing Mingyu did. He had never felt like this before, especially not for another guy. And it terrified him. Mingyu was in the class next door, same grade, different division. In his desperate attempt to learn more about him, Seungkwan remembered that he actually knew someone in Mingyu's class: Hansol. Hansol used to be his best friend back when they were kids, probably around elementary school. But then Hansol moved to America with his mother and only came back years later, when they were around fourteen or fifteen. The problem was that Seungkwan hadn't really spoken to him since. Sure, they exchanged the occasional awkward smile or nod whenever they passed each other in the hallways - the kind that silently says, "Oh yeah, I used to know you." But now Seungkwan needed him. As selfish and foolish as it sounded, he needed to become friends with Hansol again. Because he needed to get closer to Mingyu.
