The girl hid in the shadows of her dimly lit closet, shaking in fear. Her father Bellowing out curses like there was no tomorrow. A small voice attempted to sooth the beast of a man, resulting in a slap so loud, the small pup in the girl's lap whimpered, nuzzling into the crook of her neck. The slap was not what caused the young teen to scream, holding the dog tighter... It was the sirens...

I guess I could be good at poetry, but I'm probably not. Just a little poetry to strike emotion, be it happy or sad, positive or negative. But most of all, just enjoy.

Alma ha sedici anni e un dolore nascosto che la spinge a tagliarsi e a isolarsi dal mondo. Dopo un trasferimento in una nuova città, cerca di ricostruire la sua vita, ma il passato continua a tormentarla. A scuola incontra Samuele, il ragazzo buono e protettivo che vorrebbe salvarla da tutto, e Axel, il ragazzo cattivo e rabbioso che la sfida e la fa sentire viva, anche quando tutto sembra andare a pezzi. Tra un triangolo emotivo fatto di sguardi intensi, parole non dette e baci improvvisi, Alma lotta con i suoi demoni interiori: attacchi di panico, disturbi alimentari e il bisogno disperato di essere capita senza essere salvata. Have you ever had the pleasure of meeting someone with multiple personalities? Their tone of voice, body language, and even their beliefs are all different from personality to personality. Could it be that this trait is not a mental disease at all? Is it possible that this person is not sick but instead was born with more than just one sole inhabiting their body? I myself fell in love with someone that once exhibited this "disorder". I noticed as the years passed and our children got older that these extra personalities had just vanished. The theory however, never crossed my mind until a co-worker had brought the subject up one day. That night I re-searched this theory and discovered hundreds of articles. As I read them So much made sense. How my son reminded me of one of the personalities his father favored when we first met but seemed to disappear around the same time as his conception. Or how he insisted and demanded on naming our daughter after one that was the polar opposite of the other. It turned out to fit her perfect and that one as well had disappeared around her conception. This story tells parts both fiction and non about the path that somehow brought us together from two opposite sides of the continent .It tells of our ups and downs that I now question if they were put in place by higher beings to tear us apart as some fought to stop the rebirth of these sole's due to what ever reason they were imprisoned in a body they couldnt own , while others pushed back for it believing they had earned a second chance to live as their own person(s) again. Everything truly does happen for a reason. Right?
