Their voices soft and low, like mosses on buildings that held nothing but its history. "I miss the past" her tone hushed, wistful yearning for a time that's experienced through jumbled texts and scorched papers. An eye shifts to her, their lips curving. "Then let's go" ┏━✦❘༻༺❘✦━━┓ In a world of synthetic flesh and simulated pleasures, a pair of souls find themselves long for a time before them. What was once strangers meet one another in some strange string of fate, entering a journey of the familiar and unfamiliar. -life wasn't like the books I've read so dearly after all. The dark waters gushed beneath my hanging feet and the cold wind felt stronger as I wobbled at the edge of my upcoming demise. Curiously, I looked around to see if someone would come rushing and telling me not to do it. The place was empty. There would be no one to save me. My lips stretched into a smile despite myself. Life isn't a book and I'm not a protagonist. This would just be another death on the news and maybe not even then. I took a last laugh before leaning forward and letting g- "WAAH!" What the fuck?! "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" I yelled at the -admittedly- beautiful blonde male who pulled me back harshly leading into me hitting my back on the cold concrete of the bridge. "Wha- WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!" Apparently the beautiful blonde male also has a matching beautiful voice. Shame he was a FUCKING NUTCRACK! "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?! DON'T YOU KNOW HOW PRECIOUS LIFE IS?!" Oh. I took my hand and slapped it against his pretty face. "I'm an author." I see his incredulous look aimed at me as if I was crazy. Maybe I am but gosh darn, rude. I sigh as it was evident he doesn't get it. "I'm here for writing purposes." Stretching out each word slowly as if he was a five year old kid not knowing right from left. Red splashed his face like paint as he realized the situation. Honestly, it kind of fits him.
