Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs certainly feel quite accomplished after completing what they dub as the Marauder's Map. A map designed to show every classroom, hall, corridor, and even secret passageway of the Hogwarts Castle but also capable of identifying every person, ghost, and poltergeist roaming about. Or so they thought. It takes Elspeth Hayes casually strolling down the corridor one afternoon for the boys to realise that she's not showing up on the map and they want to figure out why. But Elspeth is not about to give away her secrets so easily, after all, a girl has to have her secrets to keep the boys on their toes.

Things are going missing around Hogwarts. Everything from quills to chocolate to cheap or priceless jewelry. No one is safe from the mysterious thief, not even the professors. Dumbledore has lost a purple robe with galaxies twirling around the fabric and Flitwick has lost several stacks of papers that needed grading. Few people escaped the thief and those that were left alone were questioning why. Why them? What made them different from everyone else? The Marauders have yet to lose anything to the thief. It was the beginning of their sixth year and everything was going swimmingly. The key word here is "was", because soon they lost something incredibly important. They lost the map. The Marauder's map vanished a few days into the school year. It didn't grow legs and walk away, they made sure to protect it from something like that. Hogwarts resident thief had struck again, and this time, the victims would do everything in their considerable power to find out who was behind the theft. During their investigation, Remus happens to slam into a fellow Gryffindor, Estrella Quinn. The two become close and before they know it, they're dating. But each is hiding a secret from the other.
