A war have been ravaging the land for years and a solider empty of life finally feels something for the first time in a long time. Lt. Marcus Johnson was sent off to war on January 1st, 2008 . Before he left, he told his finance, Joseph Kelly, to write in a diary. He told Joseph to write about how the day went. Marcus promised he would read it when he returned. That was five years ago. Joseph was never sent word of Marcus' whereabouts. All he knew was Marcus was not home, and therefore, he had to continue writing in his journal, as promised.
