An echo of reminders, they yell, rebound, rebound...
To live is almost like writing your own story - you dictate the actions and words of the protagonsit, you decide what characters you keep around. But often, it is these narratives, those of our own life, that have the most unreliable of narrators.
Redemption is a short soliloquy of sorts that deles into the spiralling sentiments of a boy yearning to rewrite his story, such that the errors of his ways are redeemed. But speaking to redemption is not the same as its actualisation...
This piece was written in 2019 for an assignment in my final year of high school, and his been edited recently to closer meet my expectations of my own writing.
