the story is a letter of kind about travel

We all get travel jitters before a big trip, especially if solo traveling. As in traveling on your own and you only got your back, you have a lot of what ifs and worst case scenarios in your head and makes you think "It's too scary I won't do it". I wrote this piece to encourage myself (I don't know which category to put this so I just chose poetry) months ago who's cowering in traveling and thought I'd share it to you. Traveling alone can be one of the scariest things to do in your life and it does not come without its doubts and nerves, but it can be one of the most rewarding experiences that you will ever have. Read about my adventure in going all the way around the world, by myself. After all, getting there is, arguably, more than half the battle when traveling by yourself.

Lily loves Paris. Everything from it's dazzling lights to it's perfect pastries just makes her want to jump for joy. So, when she finally saves up enough to go, and she gets her parents permission of course, Lily sets off on her own to a new world. ~~~~ This my entry for the #SoloTravel contest! This is a short piece I wrote last year for a friend's travel blog about my travels so far.. as last year I embarked on a eight month solo trip around the world as an eighteen year old girl fresh out of High School.
