The Dragonborn finds her former foe still alive in Solstheim, without any memory of who he once was.

Fyraneith has always had a dark spot in her memories, and these two blasted items she could never get rid of. One a necklace that never comes off and one a book of immense arcane knowledge that, if in the wrong hands, could be extremely dangerous. These black spots in her memory have been present since she was 10, and every time she would get close to finding out what her mind hid, she would grow dizzy and lose it. Her Aunt can not answer her, but points her in the direction of Solstheim and an old wizard. She's up for the task, and is set on unlocking this memory along with her full potential.

Hi there! I need help finding a story I am DESPERATE to read again! I read it maybe a year or even 2yrs ago now. It was about Miraak x the dragonborn, when I read it, it was not finished, with around 20 chapters (it hadn't been updated in a looong time). The dragonborn was basically looking after miraak who had been tortured by Hermaus Mora: herma mora gave the dragonborn miraak, or basically an empty husk whom once was miraak, he had 1.lost his tongue and therefore his ability to use shouts and speak 2.he had two diaries, one he would write in to communicate with the dragonborn 3.he was never allowed to take off the mask, the dragonborn could not see his face (though in the later chapter she did and she was completely freaked by his eyes). anyway much appreciated if someone could tell me the title/author! I really have looked hard, I desperately hope it hasn't been deleted, it was beautifully written :'(

To Miraak's dismay, the Last Dragonborn's soul was not so easily absorbed.

After wandering Solstheim and nearly taking her own life, she meets three gentlemen who tell her about a man named Miraak. Mind filled with new thoughts, she yearns to find out more about The First Dragonborn, his return to Solstheim, and any way to rid her mind from the "voices".

The Dragonborn travels to Solstheim once more after defeating Miraak. She only meant to bring back a book, but finds herself bringing back someone else as well.
