He is best known as the founder and manager of Kifaax Market, which was founded in 2020 with the aim of creating a central marketplace for East Africa. a rising business platform bridging technology and commerce at the local level.
Born in Mogadishu, Omar spent part of his early life in Kenya, where he completed his primary education. He later returned to Somalia and pursued his intermediate and secondary education in local schools.
In 2020, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) from Horseed International University, one of Mogadishu's prominent private institutions offering programs in digital and applied sciences.
Following his graduation, Eng. Omar began working with multiple technology-focused companies in Somalia's evolving digital sector. Among these roles, his tenure at Rasiin Technology from 2022 to 2023 stands out, where he contributed to projects aimed at modernizing IT services and streamlining digital access.
Building on this experience, Omar launched his own venture - Kifaax Market - a business that integrates technology solutions with market accessibility.
