At sixteen, he is put with a new family in the small town of Whiting, Indiana. But moving there seems to be a major mistake. Jessamine is a Dragon shapeshifter, which is the rarest breed of all, notices Ambers from across the street and instantly knows that he's one of her, that he is a dragon shapeshifter, but he has no clue of his heritage. However, the same day he has moved there, strange and mysterious deaths of locals pop up and to Jessamine and her family they look like the work of a dragon. All heads turn to Ambers, but could it be that he is being framed?
