High school is hard. Even harder when you are dealing with rumors, missing people, drugs, violence, and all the insecurities of growing up. In this story, Nessa and her friends learn to be themselves through a series of connecting plotlines and dramas. Some characters are loosely based off of people I know, others aren't. This is how we might have lived In Another Life.

David's life has always been easy. His parents have more money than they know what to do with, and everything is at Davids fingertips. Except, David just turned 18, he hasn't figured out what he wants to do with himself yet, and his parents are ready to ship him off to college. Clara Braxton has just moved from the heart of Nowheresville, Ohio, to the busy city of Los Angeles for her mom's new job at some big insurance company. Clara is certain that she will continue her sentence of permanent invisibility at Barkers Edge High School, but that is about to change when a group of boys start to notice her when no one else does. She is then thrown out of her good girl world of staying home every night to study and thrown into a world of parties, drugs, and whatever other trouble that they can think of. Some think that she is going to ruin her life with these boys, but maybe these boys can give her a life for once. Can Clara walk the line, or will she fall?
