It's okay to not be okay. Ray's old friends always told them that. But does mean they'll listen? No. Because by their definition, "okay" means not dead, and they weren't dead yet. After a traumatic incident, Ray gets rejected by family and friends. In response, they decide to shut everyone and everything out. With all the hell they went through living with their parents in Idaho, they are finally ready for a fresh start in Seattle. They meet and possibly befriend a cute coffee shop employee, will Ray be able to re-learn what it means to trust?
Basically they story follows a queer non-binary 18 year-old named Ray, and they move to Seattle to become a tattoo artist, all while dealing with the weight of feeling responsible for the incident. The story will be very sad to say the least, so if you might be triggered by homophobia, transphobia, suicide, sh, or ed, please skip this story! This is also my first work so I apologize. I'll try to have an upload schedule of 1 chapter every 2 weeks. I put a lot of myself into Ray, along with giving them some of my experience with being a queer non cis person of the LGBTQIA+ community, so enjoy.
