A través de la historia Oliver siente miedo de ser rechazado por Elizabeth por lo tanto crea un gran muro de algo que nunca pasará debido a la amistad que tiene con ella pero es traicionado por los sentimientos ocultos que va saliendo a flote por Elizabeth.
