Rose lives in a world of hate, deception, and music. The Kingdom of Song is powered by song and is home to the richest and most talented. The city right outside the kingdom, however, is home to the banished. No electricity, no one cleaning the streets and houses, and no singing power. Hello there! My name is Willow. I'm almost 16 years old and if Jon Lennon and Avril Lavigne got together and created a musical child, that would be me! My mom and Aunt Wisty sent me to a summer camp for the first time ever. It's this place for teens with musical talent called Camp Blue Jeans and it seems really cool here. Something else that's really cool about the camp is that they let me bring my rabbit, Scones!! The girls in my cabin, Lilly, Max and Bea, are some of the coolest people I've ever met and I can tell that I'm going to have an awesome time! The other day I ran into a kid named Ferrior (actually quite literally) and he seems really sweet but he never talks to anyone but me. Is he just shy? Or is it something else?… My name is Ferrior. I'm 16 years old and I've been going to Camp Blue Jeans for 2 years now. I have a year-old rat named Styx and I don't really have any friends. The other day I ran into this girl down by the lake. She seems different from the others, she didn't judge me like everyone else did when they saw my black skinny jeans and purple-streaked hair. She's one of the most amazing people I've ever met and her voice is breathtaking. It's beautiful, like a songbird.....

With the Prophet's looming threat of the False Shepherd, he enlists the help of Jeremiah Fink to construct a monster to protect his daughter - the Lamb - sweet, innocent Elizabeth. Songbird has spent his animatronic life as a bodyguard, but knows no other way to live; claws wings and a screeching call to help him complete his task. Encoded in his body is the task of keeping Elizabeth alive AND in Columbia at all costs. So he'll settle for protecting the Lamb to the death. But when Elizabeth is taken from Monument Island, Songbird knows that he must retrieve her before the False Shepherd can take her away forever.
