You're absolutely nothing like her, and everyone knows it. Well, almost everyone knows. There's one person who doesn't know, or maybe he just doesn't care. Steven Universe. Anytime you start to doubt your existence and yourself, he's always around, lifting you up and admiring you in ways you didn't know were possible. You've been friends for your whole lives and he still admires you, somehow even more than before... You can help but admire him more too. She sits in her room waiting to escape the physical and emotional torture of her step-father. Living in a religious household, when you know you like women and not having a support system is harder than anyone can imagine. It's harder knowing you can never truly be yourself when you aren't allowed to explore what makes you yourself. So, Jess hides the fact she likes women and the confusion and stores them in the songs she writes. When the fair comes around, Jess takes a leep and answers the local papers about a job offer to sing at the fair. There's one hitch, she doesn't know until she gets to the audition that they were asking for a male. With help of some wrap from her best friend and crush, Anna, and a cheep wig, she pulls off the audition and gets to sing just before the band One Direction as JayDee. When she finally sees herself in the dressing room as JayDee, she understands why she's not lesbian, but in fact a male. What will Jess do with suddenly realization as He now has to face the fact that he will never be able to go home. What will he do when it accidentally comes out to his best friend that thinks he's just a cross dressing singer? You know there's only one way to find out and that is start reading.

ok SO I've been very locked in writing this story on paper while listening to Dean Withers lives everyday and I'll try and frequently update it!!
