Amidst escaping from the future, Goku Black spotted Trunks in his time machine. Shooting a laser only a little earlier than in the official story, his energy barely hits the machine before it disappears into the void of time. Damaging some of the controls, the time machine does not go to it's predetermined destination, but jumps to an alternate timeline; A timeline depicted in a show called Dragon Ball GT. After the defeat of the Shadow-Dragons, Goku says goodbye to all his friends and family and leaves with Shenron. Later that night while Vegeta and Bulma are celebrating their recent victory, they hear a loud explosion outside Capsule Corps. There stood the iconic time machine covered in rubble and smoke. Up above, a dark-purple portal opens up, signaling the arrival of Goku Black.

The 32nd World Martial Art Tournament has arrive. Young fighters like Pan, Bra,and Marron are entering in as experienced fighters Goten, Trunks, and Uub are entering as well. They will compete to see who is the better fighter as they fight for their pride and abilities, as well as honoring Son Goku.

After future Trunks and Mai come back home, they quickly realize Zeno made a few changes to the world. Including creating his own version of the people in the other timeline. Now they are stuck dealing with the consequences. Just a plot bunny anyone can pick up if they want.

The two "Parent Friends" in the friend group, Shelly and Trunks FINALLY got engaged. Bulla is appointed 2nd in command as one of two maids of honor. Goten is Trunks Best man. Theres a lot going on and they find themselves stuck with a lot.....alone. Was this intentional? Are they next in line? I want to point out that the only official pairing in this story are both consenting adults irrespective of their present timeline counterparts. There will however be hints of affection between the teenaged Present Trunks and Mai. If this is a problem for anyone then don't read. It's not strictly canon and not that good and I may get some Japanese terms wrong. Dragon Ball Super and related characters, places and events belong to Akira Toriyama and Viz Manga while the anime belongs to Toei Animation. I own nothing, except one original character and the story.
