Kihyun belongs to creatures that are characterized by being half-fish. However, they keep it secret because people are dangerous and everyone is aware of it. But not Kihyun and not the sirens and marmaids that live on land.

Kihyun has been mute, and afraid of falling in love/emotional attachment ever since he was fifteen due to trauma. It's his freshman year of college, and his only friend/dorm mate Hyungwon, gives him news that they are gaining a new dorm mate.
