In a world where what quirk you were given at birth dictates your life forever, Izuku was part of the rare 20% to not be born with one at all, dubbed with the title of "quirkless". His mother, flawed as she may, refused to let her son feel down or low, deciding to drill into his mind that just because he wasn't like everybody else, it didn't matter. All he needed to do was work harder than everybody else, and he could be just as good, if not better. Izuku was confident, excited, and hardly put down by his condition after his mother made her support known, and vowed to become the world's greatest hero, even without a quirk! With the support of his mother, and best friend, he would become stronger than ever-! ...No. That's what you want to hear, but we aren't here to lie, are we? This would only be the start of his never ending journey of anger, as he would someday come to realize, and as you will to. This is his story of near eternal despair. Sonic the Hedgehog, a franchise with plenty of debated Eras and even more Continuities, some far more dangerous then others for an isekai victim as human as the egg-headed main antagonist himself with no super-intelligence or cheats or systems to speak of. Just meta-knowledge, lots of it, and by extension, plenty he can do with it. Sonic Films? Fine. Sonic X, Boom, and Prime? Manageable. Gameverse? Dicey, but doable. Archie and Fleetway Comics? No thanks. Sonic SatAM and Underground? Better than dealing with any EXEs, still wouldn't even if his second life depended on it. Shame that he has no choice in the matter. At least he can decide what to do after the fact, make the most of this situation he's stuck in. So what to do then? Join GUN? As if. Go the Chris Thorndyke route? Pass. Babysit the cinnamon roll-haired hologram that got carried along for the ride? Meta supposes that, exploiting plot holes aplenty, and causing chaos for all things canon will have to do.
