The story begins with Sonic, the beloved blue hedgehog known for his speed and courage, unwittingly becoming the target of Exetior, a former Highest (a divine being) banished to hell for waging war on Mobius. After thousands of years, Exetior escapes, infiltrating Sonic's body to use his form as a vessel to conquer the planet and unleash his demonic forces. However, Sonic's innate resilience and determination position him as the protagonist, fighting to reclaim his identity and protect his friends (Tails, Knuckles, Dr. Eggman, and others) from this malevolent takeover. The series is driven by a worm-like virus that warps reality, creating a nightmarish dimension where Sonic must navigate both physical and psychological horrors.
