Yami Shadow Akuma is a third year at Phoenix Drop High and one of the bad boys of the school. He doesn't like making friends and tends to be alone. However that all changed when he met Aphmau, a first year and a very beautiful gem. Said girl had a huge crush on Yami as well and after getting to know him, they began dating eachother. Yami even met Aphmau's friends, but doesn't really care about them all that much. Both of the cute couple has been dating for almost a year now and Summer was just around the corner. Unfortunately, a tragic accident occurred at Phoenix Drop High, A science experiment gone horribly wrong, causing the school to fall apart and began to explode. Students and teachers began to evacuate, but Yami stayed behind to help out others who were trapped. Sadly Yami, including a few others, never made it as they all got killed in a big explosion. For some reason, Yami's soul survived and disappeared through space and time and into a new body, in exchange for his memories. Many years later, Yami who was now known as Shadow only, began living in Mystreet for awhile, living with two other hedgehogs known as Sonic and Silver the Hedgehog. Suddenly, new neighbors began moving in next door and it wouldn't be long before the trio of hedgehogs, Aphmau and her friends, bumping into eachother and going on adventures. Aphmau began to feel a deep connection with Shadow, but doesn't know why. Will Shadow regain his memories from his old life or will he never remember?
