Sonic, along with the amnesiac Chip, traveled to the Temples of Gaia to restore the Chaos Emeralds, which had lost their power and the world, regained his powers, and defeated Dark Gaia. after the events of the sonic movies [NON-Canon timeline] Sonic, Shadow, Tails, knuckles, and the rest of his pals have found blissful peace in the town of Green hills, California. Shadow had taken to helping the small town out in any way possible to make up for the chaos and destruction of his vengeful path of destruction and ways. Knuckles and Tails had decided to use the old den Sonic used to live in as a place to store and guard the master emerald and Sonic had gotten too know a new friend and potential love interest Amy Rose in his adventures. But one day, on a small race through the mountains and forest of California, Sonic and Shadow had come across a small abandoned town with a run down sign called 'Darkened-Dawn, est. 1898'. their lives, mostly Sonic's, turn upside down upon investigation.

(Oneshot) (Werehog AU) (SonAmy) (3,000-4,000 words) Sonic and Chip are having difficulty finding the last two emeralds, which had been separated from the rest on impact. On their search, they come across Amy, who is more than willing to join their happy search party. Sonic tries to get her to stay behind, but she's relentless and follows them. As they set off to find the emeralds, Sonic and his friends have to face a few battles and trails. Will Sonic be able to protect his friends? Or is it himself that needs protecting?
