When in reality, they're all the same. All of them are living beings. Sonic and Knuckles figure that out quickly when they're both locked in the same cage, imprisoned by wannabe villain Dr. Eggman. Sonic can't use his speed, Knuckles can't use his strength, and the only thing that they could gain from fighting is possible injury, death, and guaranteed Eggman's entertainment. While their allies navigate the planet in an attempt to find them, they start to wonder if there is any point to this war. ~~~~~~~~~~ Against all odds, will Sonic and Knuckles find a way to truly be together? After months of being influenced and hurt by a mysterious being from an alternate universe, Espio the Chameleon Chaotix Detective has finally confronted his emotions that he has felt for his best friend, Silver the Hedgehog, time traveler, who had come to love the Ultimate Lifeform himself, Shadow the Hedgehog. Espio had been taken by this mysterious being who has it out for Shadow, teaming with the darkness that lurks in the shadows to take both Silver and Shadow down for good while breaking their reptilian friend. Knuckles was sent to jail for a false murder of a relative of Espios...during his difficult time in prison he receives a letter from the only one he hates...Sonic was so sad as he felt alone. Then Knuckles writes a letter to Sonic. then a day later Knuckles gets a letter from Sonic. That's when Knuckles receives a letter from Sonic. The red echidna decided to write to Sonic and the blue hedgehog writes to Knuckles.Day by day the letters bring them closer then before. What would Knuckles do?

He is one of the heroes, working alongside Sticks the Badger, Amy Rose the Hedgehog, and Tails the Fox to defend the village of Hedgehog Village from the villainous Sonic the Hedgehog. But what if he sees under the black hedgehog's disguise? What if he's not really a villain? What if... they're the bad guys, and he's just another innocent animal trying to defend himself?
