Christopher LaSalle faced another horrible tragic loss in life - the murder of his brother Cade. We were all shocked by the conclusion of his quest to find the killer. Some of us still think back to the interaction between Sonja Percy and Christopher in the squad room the day that she left NCIS when he spoke of "what might have been" and wondered as well.

Imagine Chris LaSalle's surprise when he phones to arrange an in person update on the treatment of his brother Cade and is asked is asked if Cade's girlfriend will be joining. Like LaSalle, we all know that Cade's girlfriend was murdered several months earlier, so just who could this mystery woman be?

Christopher LaSalle finds himself with questions after his father walks out on him. A few weeks later he is questioned by a peer about his partner Sonja Percy, the one he can't love. Overhearing the whole conversation, Tammy confronts him to face what his heart is telling him. Is this the wake up call that LaSalle needs or will he stand by and let another man attempt to win her heart.

Now agents afloats once again the two agents find themselves being the laughing and mocking stock of the ship because of their differences but after meeting a twenty year old kid they realize they are called for much more than they ever want to admit. This story tells a side of the story we didn't see between a spy on the inside and protectors of the passengers in different countries. They may not have solved the curse but their narrative may be just as important. This is their story

We learned early on just how much Chris LaSalle loved Christmas so it would only be fitting that the day would play pivotal in his love life as well.

A late night phone call and the unfolding story that follows only confirms the thoughts that loyal NCIS New Orleans and Percy and LaSalle followers always suspected.

Trying to help, Tammy looked through Christopher LaSalle's desk for old case files. She came across a jewelry box with a locket. On the back of the locket was an inscription "I will miss you forever". Inside she found a photo of Christopher LaSalle and Sonja Percy. Damnit LaSalle, this could have made all the difference in the world. She returned the locket to the drawer and wiped the tears from her eyes as she walked back upstairs to the conference room.

Christopher LaSalle and Sonja Percy were fictional characters that found a place in the hearts of their television fans. Many of us regretted that they were never provided with the love story they deserved so I wrote this one for them and am republishing it upon request.
