A book full of all the poetry I write. Some are happy, uplifting even - and others are deep and mournful. It honestly just depends, I suppose! I hope you have fun reading them - there will be no curse words or anything explicit like that. :)

I may also put some quotes in here, rather than my viewer book. Please enjoy the thing that mostly happens in my brain at night. Other than the dark demons that keep me up that is.

This is just a collection of the poems I make. Enjoy reading my works. I am obviously an amateur, and I have my own style, so don't expect me to be an excellent poet. Hahahaha. This is sort of an experimental and fun thing that I've wanted to do for awhile. For this, I will write one poem per month, describing my experiences, thoughts, and things of the like. This is a little frightful for me, as I've never had the confidence to present my writings to others. Now, I'm forcing myself to share my work. I hope you all like this! Please leave me helpful suggestions on how I can improve, too. They are much appreciated.

This collection of poems presents a unique perspective on enduring themes--love, existentialism, the darker side of life in an urban environment, loneliness, quiet heroism and the transcendent power of poetry to rebuild weary souls and teach lessons we may not want to learn. Although several of the poems in this collection have appeared in anthologies and literary magazines, most are published here for the first time and represent a selection of the author's free verse, blank verse, and sonnets from early adulthood through middle age (1977-2006). The author is a Professor of Legal Studies in Business at Hofstra University's Frank G. Zarb School of Business and has previously published seven non-fiction books through traditional publishers. His business law and legal environment textbooks have been used in colleges and universities throughout the United States since 1993. This is his first poetry collection.
