All he could focus on was the body lying still on the ground. Sonny's mind raced, the world spinning as he tried to make sense of it all. How had it come to this? How had everything unraveled so fast? In that moment, time seemed to collapse in on itself. Every sound became distant, muffled, as if the world had sunk beneath water, leaving Sonny suspended in a suffocating stillness.
