Paris must embark on a quest with the newcomers, Piper, Jason, and Leo, to save the immortal goddess Hera, who was kidnapped by... (drumroll)... the earth. Although Paris originally despised this "Leo" kid, as their journey continues, she finds herself hosting certain feelings for him that one, she doesn't like, two, she can't explain, and three, she tries to get rid of. Better yet, there was some gods-forsaken prophecy floating around that involved the demigods from Camp Jupiter and their neighboring enemy Greeks. Rory had only slept for six months, and the world had basically lit on fire. Now, Rory is forced into a world of danger that Jason had spent his whole life trying to shield her from, with only the back-shattering pressure of the fate of their world as they know it looming over her head. Great, right? Rory's already lost her brother once, but she'll be damned if she loses him again.
