Life for Sonic has been turned upside down after Kintobor murdered the rest of the royal family and took the throne for himself, imprisoning most of his friends and family--including his siblings, Sonia and Manic--in grueling work camps. Things get even crazier when in a desperate attempt to stage a coup, he gets kidnapped and dumped on the ship of Captain Shadow, a privateer employed by Kintobor. It might have been a little more cut and dry if he weren't falling for the captain and his first mate too. Can Sonic get back and save his friends and his siblings before it's too late?

A series of nostalgic events that occurred before the war in 'The Phases of a Rose' Sonic AU story that is also written by me. This is the pre-war edition, filled with fun times, laughs, heart-to-hearts and sweet romantic scenes between Amy and her two lovers: Shadow and Sonic. Amy, feeling the pressure of time, ends her relationship with Sonic, despite their mutual feelings for one another, as he's simply not ready to settle down and commit. Following Rouge's suggestion, Amy turns to Tails for help with her fertility concerns, however, an unexpected incident alters her plans, leading to the emergence of a groundbreaking discovery. This is The New Wave Ultimate Lifeform.
