After the resistance is imprisoned and killed by the Sons of Garmadon, Lloyd Garmadon, the green ninja, fakes his death and disappears. The city is left in grief and chaos, but a new adventure awaits the green ninja as he leads a team of new elemental masters, determined to restore hope and fight for a brighter future. This book was formerly known as "The Ninja Who Disappeared", but I wasn't satisfied with the last rendition and decided to rework and improve the story a bit. My writing increased in quality since then, but it's far from perfect, so feedback is happily accepted!

And Lloyd? He was working with the enemy. ----- A/N Crystallized just ended so I believe now is the perfect time to start making Ninjago fanfics and this features a theory about Ninjago that I had for a long time. Despite this being an AU, I would have to warn that there are spoilers for practically every season of Ninjago since Crystallized gave us a complete story on how everything was interlinked. I apologise for spoiling any major plot elements that's similar between the show and this fic though you should at least have finished everything before the Oni Trilogy.
