There was once a time where Ninjago city meant nothing for a young boy. That was until he accidentally befriended a cheerful girl who showed him the benefits known as the light in the city. He didn't mean to stay attached to her but emotions always deceived you. However, as time moves on and the friendship between the two kids continue to bloom gradually, they found themselves being torn apart from eachother after a grand war occurring in Ninjago. Lloyd Garmadon hated his city but Rumi loved it. After the resistance is imprisoned and killed by the Sons of Garmadon, Lloyd Garmadon, the green ninja, fakes his death and disappears. The city is left in grief and chaos, but a new adventure awaits the green ninja as he leads a team of new elemental masters, determined to restore hope and fight for a brighter future. This book was formerly known as "The Ninja Who Disappeared", but I wasn't satisfied with the last rendition and decided to rework and improve the story a bit. My writing increased in quality since then, but it's far from perfect, so feedback is happily accepted!

After Hands of Time, Lloyd starts thinking about Morro, him telling them that they forgot about their teammate Cole, back in Day of the Departed. Lloyd should have thanked Morro, but he didn't. Lloyd saw all of Morro's memories, when he got abused and bullied, when his dreams of becoming the Green Ninja were completely shattered. Lloyd went to the Monastery one day, he found under a bunch of rocks, a red and gold kite, Lloyd immediately recognized that this was Morro's kite. Lloyd takes it home, not knowing that it has a connection with someone he feels sorry for. *This story is a side story, after Hands of Time and before Sons of Garmadon (Season 8) duh!*

This story takes place after the events of Ninjago: Sons of Garmadon episode 83. It's pretty much my opinion on how I think the ninja would react if put in a situation where Lloyd, being their leader and all, wasn't there to guide them. It's also kind of a prediction for episode 84.

With Lloyd dead the Ninja are left scrambling to hold back the Sons of Garmadon. Each takes a role in a war they know they can't win, Jay is no different. He's been doing his role the best he can, but happens when finds himself right back at the beginning? What will he do now?
