When young Sophia Johnson runs into the same man three times, she decides to investigate and discovers that aliens are real-- and a bit terrifying. In a strange twist of fate, she decides to team up with a man known simply as The Doctor to figure out why a genetic experiment is tearing up California. ***Just to let you know, this fic takes place after Planet of the Dead (Easter 2009) and before The Water on Mars (November 2009).
