Its been three years, three years since tom fell off the roof and Sophie and toms marriage hasn't been the same since, she feels more alone than ever, she has no friends around her and has fallen into a great depression the only thing keeping her going is her kids. Sophie Mason is the daughter of Rachel mason, the new head teacher of waterloo road. Sophie is trouble, this is why Rachel took her out of her old school and put her in waterloo road separating her from her best friend Abbey.
