Sophie Reynolds is a ordinary 18 year old girl who lives in San Diego, California. Two months ago she graduated from high school and in a few weeks she'll leave her family to start in UCLA, University of California in Los Angeles to study dance and acting. One evening in the middle of August Sophie's parents are hosting a dinner party for some of their friends and their families. Sophie thinks she'll be stuck with all the kids as usual where the oldest one is only 11 years old but she did not know that her mom's old friend from University would come all the way down from LA with her husband and their oldest son who happens to be the one and only Cameron Boyce.
