Before reading this story, there are two very important things I'd like you to understand. First, the character Maya Hayes is in no way original. I've taken her and parts of the plot from the wattpad original author JoshTownley and their story 'Zoey'. They have given me permission to write this. Next, most, if not all, of the characters are from C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird series. The only thing I have done is combined these two authors' ideas into an adventure of my own. Murder, torture, sexual assault, abuse... it was their job, after all- they slipped in, locked the bad people up, and slipped away. But boy were they wrong. You see, what they hadn't ever encountered before, what was thought to be impossible, decided they hadn't been through enough in their short lives. And so an outbreak of a zombie-creating virus pounded at their doors. With friends, family, and even pets to worry about, you'd think the quiet house down the street would be the furthest thing from their minds. Actually, it definitely was the furthest thing from their minds. Until they saw the little girl in the window. They say curiosity killed the cat, but what about a dog? (Better cover coming soon)

When Sang was 9 years old, she was rescued from her abusive family by Dr. Roberts. Sang was adopted by Dr. Roberts and was taken to his home in South Carolina where she meets two boys. For a year, they become close friends. When Sang was 10, she was assigned an overseas mission as the boys were assigned a mission at a school to observe a group of five boys. While she was gone, they would send letters to each other until one letter broke their relationship. Now 17, Sang and her team moves back to South Carolina. On a mission, Sang, in a disguise, bumps into Mr. Blackbourne. What will happen when Sang meets the Blackbourne team and her two former friends?
