Basically edward is still edward but instead of him having to protect bella because she's being hunted by victoria he's protecting her because she's being hunted by a race of supernaturals called Tigerians . The Tigerians are Tiger shifters ,who are ruled by their empress whos basically their alpha (basically the same thing as jacob) .They are ruled by the first born daughter of their empress .They are hunting bella because they believe she's the key to finding their missing empress.
