A few weeks later she also disappeared. Claudia also left. Viren's body, although the Crown Guard searched everywhere at the bottom of the spire, is missing. Xadia, the most beautiful city. It stood out against all else. There was little crime, there was no reason for it. Everyone was happy, everyone had something. They had roofs over their heads, food on their tables, new clothes on their backs every so often. The "Kingdoms", the most hideous city. It blended into the trash that ended up in the sewers. No one was happy, no one had anything. Having a roof over your head was rare, having food on the table cost everything, clothes were always old and ragged.

The moment was bittersweet, for Soren knew it wouldn't last, knew the Crowngaurd would find Corvus a room in some far corner of the castle, leaving Soren's to feel once again too vast and empty--too lonely for one person. Still, nothing could rival the skip of his heartbeat when he was this close to the tracker, and the stabbing knowledge that it was temporary only served to quicken the wingbeats of the insomnia-inducing butterflies in his stomach.

This is a Soren based sorvus fic if that makes sense. This is basically about if Soren had forgotten almost all of the good moments of his mother and the life he had before she left (explaining why he didn't remember his illness) because he was afraid of missing her, but he's started having dreams of a forgotten memory. Now Soren must work out his family issues while also navigating a gay panic for his best friend. Will he figure it out or will it all fall apart? THIS STORY WILL BE IN SORENS POV (mostly) Also includes other ships such as rayllum, ezaanya and more (they aren't mentioned all that much though, sorry). This is based after s7. Characters are from the Netflix show "the dragon prince".

Soren comes up with a plan to bring Corvus to a beautiful Xadian forest... and to confess his feelings. Takes place in the time skip, a bit before season 4.
