Three months have passed since the fires of war consumed the Western Frontier. The RDA has vanished. The Sarentu have found a new home amongst the floating mountains of the Boundless Range. And for the first time in what feels like forever, Pandora is quiet. But peace has never lasted long. Haunted by the scars of captivity and a betrayal that fractured what remained of her family, Tamtey struggles to leave the past behind. Even with So'lek at her side-a warrior whose quiet presence has begun to mean far more to her than either of them are willing to admit-the memories refuse to loosen their hold. Then, a single RDA Valkyrie appears in the skies. And with it comes a warning. The hunt for the Sarentu has begun. Forced to abandon the Western Frontier to protect the clans they love, the Sarentu flee toward the distant reefs, where turquoise waters, unfamiliar traditions, and a new people offer them the chance to disappear. Perhaps even the chance to heal. But something is stirring beyond the reef. The Sky People are closer than anyone realizes. And when the past finally catches up to them, Tamtey will be forced to decide just how far she is willing to go to protect the people she loves... especially the warrior who refuses to let her face it alone. The flames may have died. But beneath the whispers of the reef, the embers are still burning.

Almost a year has passed since Solek rescued Tamtey from the clutches of the Mangkwan and the RDA. The Kinglor forest has started to regrow from the ash, making the western frontier look like home again to the Aranahe and the Sarentu. But Tamtey is still being haunted by her past, unable to escape the constant reminders of everything she's lost. Can Tamtey let go of her fear? Will So'lek be able to save the love of his life? or will he lose it all.... This story is a crossover between Solek and Tamtey and Jake and Neytiri.
