This is my take on what happens in the lives of Katniss and Peeta after Mockingjay. The war has ended and both of them have a lot of physical and emotional scars, Peeta's hijacking, Katniss' trauma, many lost loved ones. They both have returned to victor's village, but will they ever return to each other? After reading Sunrise on the Reaping, i thought it right to finally type up this story, enjoy!

Wyatt Callow is not easily surprised. He watches each Reaping, stone-faced and solemn at the loss, but the chosen tributes are always predictable. That is, until the Reaping of the Second Quarter Quell, when Lenore Dove Baird volunteers in place of thirteen-year-old Louella McCoy, and this year's Hunger Games become a lot more exciting. Although the other tributes are almost strangers to him, Wyatt's observational skills pick up on a few things: First, Lenore Dove and Maysilee Donner have a past. It looks like neither of them are over it (or each other), making it all the more difficult with Haymitch watching. Second, Lenore Dove is always sneaking around, and factoring in her rebellious spirit, Wyatt knows she's up to something. For now, all he can do is observe, but he knows these Games are going to be different. Or, an anthem for the queenliest dead that ever died so young.

As the eldest in her family it only made sense that her name would be put forward. However, there would be a significantly smaller number of potential tributes. District 12 hadn't seen victory since the 74th games. When they're only two living victors, Katniss and Peeta Mellark, had done what hadn't been done before or since. Leave the arena together. However the two of them hadn't managed to get a single tribute to victory since winning. Ramie doesn't like her odds, but maybe they can turn in her favor.
